Manimate is a local application. Local rendering does not require a Manimate cloud account. Your chosen coding agent may use its own online services.

Manim Cloud

When you connect Manim Cloud, Google provides an account identifier and verified email address. We use these to identify your account and keep your library separate from other users.

Cloud rendering uploads the code and assets needed for your render to Cloudflare. Rendered files and cloud-mode session backups are stored in Cloudflare R2. Account records and video metadata are stored in Cloudflare D1. Operational logs help diagnose failures and monitor usage.

Sharing

Anyone with a video’s share link can watch it. Your library and editable session backups require authentication. Deleting a video disables its share page. Backups and project history are separate from individual video versions.
